Warmth, balance and connection has become a recurring theme on Callawassie Island, and a true representation of exactly how our residents feel about living in our private, coastal community.

Not only does the natural beauty of Callawassie tend to leave one speechless but as Cliff Dykes, resident since 2008, explains, “[he] chose Callawassie Island for the natural beauty and the people. You  feel like you’re living amongst four hundred great friends!”

This connection with friends lends itself to an array of clubs and activities available to not only our owners, but their extended families and children as well.   Every Summer, our Club puts on a week-long event called “Camp Callawassie”. Residents of the community volunteer their time as camp counselors, allowing them to spend time with their own children or grandchildren as they enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, golf, tennis and various nature study activities.

Callawassie Island – a community for now and for generations to come.
